Prospect Street, Russell
If there’s one place in New Zealand you’d want to retire, it’s the small seaside village of Russell, in the heart of the Bay of Islands. It’s a small town with big character, and the perfect place to build an architectural home to reside in.
Our clients on this project wanted a three bedroom, three bathroom home to suit the site, which was very steep and had a number of challenges.
The design that eventuated was a stylish, two storey home with double posts, blacked out. The roof, walls and joinery are all black, perfect for blending the home into the Russell hillside.
Decks on both levels look out over the Russell bay, an idyllic spot. Glass, top fixed balustrading keeps view lines open and transparent.
Bathrooms feature charcoals, blacks and whites. A stunning, clean feel to the inside of this home.
A big thanks to Hatchard Builders for their fine workmanship on this build, the Arcline Team enjoyed working with you.
