Nestled within a secluded site framed by mature trees and lush landscaping, this home balances bold architectural form with a sense of natural warmth and calm.

A striking mono-pitch roofline defines the exterior, paired with tilt-panel concrete walls that are exposed to the living spaces and bedrooms, creating a sense of permanence and strength. These robust materials are softened by warm plywood linings to the walls and ceilings, wrapping the interior in a natural, tactile warmth.

The symmetrical design is centred around a schist-clad chimney anchoring the heart of the home. Above, the raking raftered ceiling creates volume and light throughout.

Finishes such as cedar cladding and Australian Spotted Gum flooring bring a refined natural palette that complements the mid-century influenced interiors. A dedicated library and study provide a peaceful retreat.
