Working with our clients to design this Coopers Beach Home was a pleasure, in so many ways.

Arcline has been architecturally designing homes in and around Doubtless Bay for over 20 years. It’s fair to say we know this slice of New Zealand quite well.

Our clients wanted a permanent residence with plenty of room, on a fairly small 1,089m2 site. Designing a 370m2 home with a swimming pool, two outdoor areas and triple car garaging onto this site was tricky, but a challenge we’re used to.

The home includes an art gallery styled hallway, leading through the four bedrooms, study and four bathrooms, into the main living space. This consists of a large kitchen, scullery and temperature controlled wine cellar. 

A rumpus room acts as a separate snug, while the main family, dining and kitchen is all one space. The decks wrap around the bedrooms, giving each room a view and access to the swimming pool, a central feature of the build.

Landscaping was key in this project, the entire site being landscaped, including a mini putting green near the road. A fire pit on the other side of the living wing is tucked in a calm, secluded area.
