Who We're Looking For...
SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN
Location: Auckland/Northland
Qualities we’re looking for:
- In-depth understanding and knowledge of the New Zealand Building Code and NZS3604
- At least 3 years practical drafting experience in New Zealand
- The ability to produce concept & detailed consent drawings for projects, residential and commercial
- Great problem solving ability (including responding to council RFI’s)
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comprehensive experience with CAD software – preferably ArchiCAD
- Experience in commercial/education sector beneficial
PROJECT ARCHITECT / Architectural designer
If you’re an Architect or Architectural Designer with 5+ years experience, we may look to include you in our team as a Project Architect. The role would be client facing, interacting and designing residential and commercial architecture, with a mix of internal project management with the rest of the talented Arcline Team.
Location: Auckland/Northland
Qualities we’re looking for:
- Experience in meeting clients and turning our clients needs & wants into a practical & functional design
- Positive attitude & confidence interacting with clients and other consultants
- Sales ability – to convert potential clients
- Sketch on the fly – during client discussions
- Realistic understanding of budgets, small & large, including building costs, products & processes within NZ
- Quick to interpret multi-district planning rules, consent notices and covenants
- Distribute experience within the team, helping to upskill junior members
- Ability to check & mark-up full working drawings
- An understanding of CAD programs (we predominantly use ArchiCAD & Revit)
- Leadership of a drafting team working on multiple projects at any given time, and maintaining client interaction & discussions
- Ability to turn visions into designs, for people & projects
- Friendly, understanding, and realistic, not afraid to share bad news when needed
