Every now and then, a project comes back into view that makes us stop and smile. Recently, a home we designed back in 2006 has come up for sale — nearly 20 years old, and still owned by the same wonderful clients we worked with all those years ago.
Walking through the video, it’s incredible how fresh, beachy and modern it still feels. The light, the flow, the materials, and the way the home sits effortlessly within its coastal setting — all still feel right at home in 2025. You wouldn’t know it was designed nearly two decades ago.
That’s the beauty of timeless design. When architecture is well thought-out — proportions, materials, and lifestyle — it doesn’t date. It simply continues to feel right.
For us at Arcline Architecture, that’s the ultimate compliment. Seeing one of our earlier homes still looking as good as the day it was built, still loved by its original owners, and now being admired by a new generation of buyers — that’s proof of what good design can achieve.
We’ve always believed that a home should last — not just structurally, but aesthetically and emotionally. This 2006 home is a reminder of why we design the way we do: to create spaces that feel effortlessly modern, no matter how many years go by.
If a house can still turn heads after 20 years, we must have done something right.
